Good Bavarian food

Nice and brisk service, food was very good, all Corona rules complied with. Here is the next birthday! ...... It turned out to be a great birthday meal. All guests also found the food, the service (including the boss) and the atmosphere VERY good! We haven't had anything like this in the last 10 years. Everything was right. I can only recommend it!

Very good address for cyclists, even spontaneously for 1 night. Very nice beer garden, good food, rich breakfast, room good and functional, clean. Host people very nice, service great. Bicycles could be safely parked. Absolutely idyllic location. A detour is definitely worthwhile here.

Unfortunately, I was looking forward to a beer garden visit for nothing. Despite wonderful (st) em excursion weather, could not be covered outside. REASON: Staff shortage ... the young waiter had already prepared a table in the beautiful garden for me, then came the boss and said: "If we serve you outside, other people come too". 😕 So into the gloomy dining room 😕 The food was good and priced o.k. Everything was very clean and the staff friendly. Later I walked to the animals. Everything was very nice for the children. However, I have no understanding that guinea pigs are sold there. How about not having any offspring? There are enough emergency cases that you could pick up. The ponies did not look very happy either. I had expected more after the beautiful website.

The Waldgasthof Bergfried is located very quiet on the outskirts between the sports field and outdoor pool. The atmosphere is very quaint, but also very comfortable. There is a large hall for a little sweeping celebration. The typical Bavarian beer garden with lots of shade and great linden trees is recommended. The food is nothing special, but perfectly fine. Price is the sausage salad, only with sausage, vinegar and onions for 9 euros too expensive. There is an urgent need for improvement at the service staff. Most wordless orders are taken and food served. From Freudnlichkeit no trace. Overall ok.

The ambience is suitable for big celebrations. The prices for the food are not justified. Both the cakes and the main dishes could not convince the taste. A star for the ambience and one for the service ..

We have reserved in the afternoon for the same evening, no problem. Great courteous service! First class. Solid Swabian cuisine with a good salad buffet selection. Unfortunately, as I find an underrated restaurant, as in and around Wertingen the traditional German cuisine dies out.
